Considering the Grand Duke had set this Minelf hostage to be raised with his daughter, in the hopes this one wouldn't be just a puppet to ensure stability along their borders but a link between the two people's.

Well he got that and more as this love would be chief became fast friends with his daughter, near inseparable she'd become her body guard, confidant and rumoured on occasion lover. While that last one could never be confirmed the connection the pair had was strong, so it was only natural that he had the royal armoureies forge a weapon befitting the lass. A Greataxe equal her size (nearly 9ft) and only she could wield it.
