After a while, you'll start being able to make up poses in your head. I've been looking at refs, and tweeking them a bit, so it's a bit of both.
and omfg i hateeeeeeeeeeeeee doing eyes DXXX

you could try realistic style?
Get a couple easter eggs and use the bottom part (the rounder part) and cut them down a bit so they look like eyes, then paint the inside of them and inset them :3
then put something to see through under them or in the tear ducts

didnt think of doing realistic for this one. could look amazing with her silver eyes. and ive been wanting to play around with resin eyes

resin eyes are really fun :3
Just make sure to add some sort of pam or other non stick spray before adding the resin or it will be HELL getting them out. Just don't use TOO much, because it WILL cloud the resin.
