A picture I took in the field (which I'm still in [as of when i posted this]) of an M485 shot by our sister section during a coordinated shoot 2 days ago. Always good to put steel downrange and thought this would make a nice desktop background for those who want it.

Not really, do to the light being over head unless you look directly at it thermals won't be too effected, but it's meant for light intensifying optics which take in light from the visible down to the near infrared and intensify it into visible wavelengths.

Someone should tell that to Gaijin then. Their flares in night battles blind night vision gear. I should have specified NVDs and not thermals.
