Being a scientist for the Dark Kingdom, Axel prides himself on the various experiments he's able to come up with. Finding himself in Kingdomfall, he's become privy to much more magic, ingredients, and people of whom he can share with. However, as per many of those from his kingdom, he's prone being short tempered, especially when any of his experiments fail or he isn't able to test them out as properly as he would like.

It's because of that short temper that he's found himself doing more... less serious tests on his allies. Primarily the "leader" of the resistance West. Often sneaking up on the Sneasel and snatching him up into his maw before gulping him down! With how typically calm West is, Axel's found it quite amusing to see just how long it takes him to get upset inside there. The time has gotten shorter since he started up the experiment. So it must be getting results!
