Originally commissioned by Filippo Maria Visconti, these cards had great influence on the design and numbering of modern cards.

The faith card represented trust in oneself, in others, in technology and of course, in religion. It is associated with the ability to step back, assess the situation, and act cautiously as necessary.

The symbol on the scepter is that of the holy trinity, representing wisdom.
