It was the end of summer and it was a weekend, the forecast was for cold and rainy weather for days after this one so Duncan and his friends got together around a nearby swimming hole, Duncan's favorite because it had a rope swing to fling off of into the water. He ran to the pond wanting to be the first one in he grabbed on the rope swing while running and yelled "First!" as he swung himself over the pond, happy that it would be the greatest way to enter the warm water.
