So this week's  Thursday_Prompt was a visual one, a piece of Titanfall-themed art by  Fio. Originally I hadn't had much in the way of plans for this one, as I've never played the game, but then I started looking at the lore for the game out of curiosity, and I came across the concept of the 'Fold Weapon' as part of the Titanfall 2 scenario plotline, and that just struck me as a perfect method for a crossover...

And then, of course, it all spiraled out of control on me and became a bigger story, as it seems to do. And here I am supposed to be cleaning things up for maintenance people showing up later in the week. Gah.

I'll try to finish this later.

ETA: Oh, and title chosen because the title for the original image was 'Situation Nominal', and I wanted to play on that... and 'Consequential' is about as opposite to 'Nominal' as I could get while feeling like a similar word.
