While her sibling might be from the more noble Muromachi period, centuries later Rin would be born to a world after the Great Wars, beyond civil wars. She has not known a time before electricity, other than the old timey shrine she grew up in that only barely got a radio, being from the dawn of the dawn of the Heisei period. Getting the odd scratch or chip in her ear here or there from sprinting at full speed through the forests, exploring the wilder parts of Japan's mountains and being an allround wild child, Rin got to experience the more modern schooling system once she and her slowed aging finally came of age, where she learned about phones and game consoles as much as writing.
