SO ovi is the kid's familiar. Dragons aren't supposed to be familiars BUT if you can recall Ovi wasn't always a dragon. He was brought to this realm and TF'd into one by a bootched find familiar spell. What this means is: The kid is OP as feck but of course he has to keep that in check because of all the damage he could do.
