Skin lore: Lucius Churchill
Quick sketch of the real Lucius with some lore behind how Judas got his skin
The original person was named Lucius Churchill he was very troubled very anxious and paranoid he believed demons had it out for him and found a little comfort in religion. Lucius met Judas a few years after the British first showed up in Australia Judas took an interest to him though still shy and learning to fit in with earthlings at the time. Lucius was Judas's first (reciprocated) love but when Judas wanted to show him his real self it backfired. Judas thought he'd surprise him but Lucius ended up coming in on them in their real form eating their skin Lucius took him as some kind of demon monster who ate his love and shot Judas before he had time to explain. Judas had never been shot before but despite it tried to talk with him but ended up accidentally killing Lucius in self defense before he could shoot him again. Judas panicked and fled but decided to try and pass themself off as him and his skin ended up sticking.
Modern day Judas looks back on the whole situation and thinks at the time they wanted to "be" him not be with him, but they were young and dumb at the time the whole experience is a major reason Judas is so closeted about showing/people knowing their real self.
