After the events of Korvosa, Hap having helped liberate the city, and defeating the queen, she was unsure what to do next. It wasn't long until the warpriest was able to find new purpose, and effort into the Mendevian Crusades. She was always looking for the next challenge she could take on, as it was a tenet of her faith. Fighting demons in the Worldwound, seemed a nobliest cause of any. Demons were constantly pouring in from the scar deep within the Worldwound, and fit warriors, casters, and just about anyone was needed. For Hap there was no questioning or hesitation to join the fight against the demons.
