Man, this reminds me of a cutscene from Dirge of Cerberus that's never left my mind for some reason.
It's the bit where Shelke hops into that logistics station cradle to held defend against Deep Ground, and takes no time at all to seem familiar with the screen layout someone else set up. This nine-year-old just turns into Data, and if I remember correctly she even has her emotionless affect as she relays info.
