This Skandrak is an element of Arcadia's "true postmortem" system. Characters frequently face him in places where they are not allowed to set foot. Usually the locations of the Old World or anything connected to The Abyss.
Typhres emerges anytime a creature is about to die, and he also "escorts" dying souls to other realms of existence. He can be met in situations such as the ascension of an immortal soul to the afterlife, or the selection of a new crown at the Abyssal Crown Altar.
The Grim Weeper's behavior changes dramatically depending on the creature he encounters. He can sense the creature's deepest desires and fears, as if it were another test of the creature's true purpose.
