This was a piece Volturio's player commissioned early in the campaign. I admit my style and he's changed quite a bit since then. His player wanted a piece of Volturio being less refined, polished, and not quite his noble self. Decompressing in his solitude in his room. This player really enjoys "downtime" pieces of the party.

Volturio rests on the couch of his custom room at Tenna's bed and breakfast. The establishment slowly changes the room to suit the guest. Volturio has lived there for the last 6 years since being kicked out of his family home at 18. His half elven features became too prominent to hide the fact that he was the Bastard of House Sura. His father in trying to protect the name Sura, cast him out and told him to keep a low profile. He adopted the house colors of House Ornelos and became a small time gladitorial fighter, using his formal fencing training to keep busy. It was truly a fated night when he met the rest of his adventuring party just weeks ago.
