...do you think? This MG MGA certainly has the badges to make that case. I am uncertain of the exact model year, but am guessing this vehicle was manufactured somewhere around 1960-1962.

Yeah that tells you all you need. Given the scandals BYD has endured in that nation I'd be skeptical of a modern MG.

Mark II with inset grille, per Wiki.

MG stands for Morris Garages, which led to a bit of confusion on my part as a lad, as I contended it was named after my father (who changed his first name from Morris to Michael before I was born)... :)

Nice! Clearly somebody's baby!

I visited a (more or less) local park years ago when they had a Briddish Car show. I took a bunch of pictures, but I dumped the photos to my work computer. Then I got laid off...

I did, but I thought there would be more run-up time. Monday, Friday, gone -- and they wanted me to document everything I was doing. They didn't promise but 'suggested' those laid off would be placed in other positions. Surprise: they LIED.
