My take on Optimus Prime! As you might be able to tell, I took a lot of design cues from Animated, but I also gave him some G2 elements, and I tried to sprinkle in some of my own design elements! The yellow eyes are a result of my Unicron Trilogy bias-

(Bear with this as I'm making it up as I go along lol) How I'm interpreting this version of Optimus is, like Animated, he's not the leader of the Autobots, but he IS the commander of a small subgroup of Autobots, sent out on a scouting mission for any Decepticons hiding throughout the galaxy. As luck would have it, they find a large Decepticons warship, and they are forced to engage in battle almost immediately. Once the Decepticons forces boarded their ship, led by the infamous Lieutenant Starscream, their ships went off course into a Space Bridge, sending them careening towards a prehistoric Earth. What happens after?
