I felt like it was time to round out the trio of mustelida from periods of my life. With Roscoe being my time in medicine and hopeful about life and the goodness of others. My much more cynical more current Lawyer stoat James Winters and a long time coming, Yulian Ostrovsky, who was inspired from my *first* ever career goal of ethnoarchaeology. I always thought the idea of traveling the world and studying cultural history was so fascinating and ended up deciding to make this guy due to a friend saying I needed to “complete” the collection.
Yuli is a Barguzinsky sable, common in Russia and Siberia and as you would expect very very soft. He spent his childhood at the very tail end of the Soviet Union and travels the world in search of great findings in ancient civilization. He’s very particular in regards to his work and how he presents himself and greatly despises people bringing up “Indiana Jones” in regards to his work, him owning a whip has nothing to do with his professional life. Despite his cultural focus he is very fascinated with other fields of archaeology and has a prized collection of bones and despite his thin, lithe body he has an unnaturally massive stomach capacity.
Some less than fun facts about Yulian.
-Has several panic disorders predominately around obsessive compulsion and routine.
-His Fur care routine takes about an hour and a half out of each day.
-He is shockingly well versed in the microfacets of helicopter operation despite never once piloting one or never being on one.
