Despite what the outfit may seem to suggest, this isn't an alternate version of Cathy. Rather, in the aftermath of the Human-Covenant War, she takes up dancing as a hobby when she's not on deployment, especially since, having been pulled aside for officer training, she's a bit more well-adjusted to civilians and non-spec-ops military than other Spartans may be. It gives her a chance to put her strength and reflexes on display, without being a raw martial display of them.
