Every fall, Cookie Gulch would have a circus visiting the town's fairgrounds. The circus is like any other circus. It has the usual acrobats, high wire acts, animal acts, sword swallowing acts, human cannonball, etc. And of course, a circus wouldn't be a circus without a clown act.
But this year, the clown department has a serious problem. Due to an error in communication, some of the clowns accidentally went to Paint Creek Springs, exactly 80 miles away from Cookie Gulch! Because of this, the clown department now has a shortage of clowns for today's performance.
That's when the head clown, a cockatoo named Clownshoes, asked the sheriff of Cookie Gulch for clown volunteers. Sheriff Marshall was delighted to assist Clownshoes, and he rounded up his loyal Diaper Deputies to help out replacing the missing clowns. Marshall signed up himself, Davey, Amber, Fireball, Rock and Loriel as temporary clowns. Even Marshall's babies Xerry and Nobath got to be clowns.
Clownshoes gave the assistants some costumes, make-up, giant shoes, and packs of diapers and led them to Clown Alley (the dressing area for the clown performers). While Marshall was applying make-up on his fuzzy face, Clownshoes dressed up Xerry as a cute clown princess because he had an idea for Xerry.
While the other deputies were out entertaining the children by handing out balloons and doing silly acts, Clownshoes took Marshall and Xerry to the dunking booth. Once the clown show began, Clownshoes then challenged Marshall on a game of skill on who can dunk the clown princess more within a fixed time limit. Meanwhile, Xerry was sitting in a specially made dunk booth that's shaped like a high chair. Below the high chair is a wading pool filled with tasty custard. On the left handed side of the high chair is a target, and when the target is activated, the entire high chair collapses and Xerry falls into the pool of custard.
While Clown Marshall was using rubber balls to hit the target, Clownshoes was tossing muffins to hit the target. As the duel began, the sheriff and the head clown struck the target several times within a three minute time limit. Meanwhile, Xerry didn't care about who dunks him the most. The more times the target was hit, it means more tasty custard for him!
In the end, the duel ended in a tie. Both Marshall and Clownshoes hit the target 20 times each. The crowd went into a huge applause and cheers for the three clowns as they took a bow. And even though Xerry's princess costume was all covered in custard and needing a diaper change, he had the most fun time in his life as the clown princess of the circus!

Sweet story. Xerry definitely needs a bath and diaper change. I'll bet Nobath had a giant whoopee cushion trampoline to emit loud farts while he bounced about, but without any of the stink. Davey is no stranger to dressing as a clown https://www.furaffinity.net/view/11953630/ and would definitely have a swell time passing out animal balloons.
