Buck Brothers: U.S. Air Force's 76th Birthday (9/18/23)
Today in the Vexillological Corner...
Today, we celebrate the United States Air Force (@usaf_recruiting) for being a part of the US Armed Forces. The Air Force was heavily used in World War Two and in different wars to stop potential foes and people who illegally enter the United States by air.
The symbols of the flag are the Bald Eagle for the United States, cooperation with other branches, and power and might in air. The cloud behind it symbolizes the creation of the "new firmament." As almost all the military flags have may also intwine with Old Glory's purposes with the thirteen stars for the thirteen colonies. The wreath of six folds of silver and blue incorporates the flag's shield design.
However, the flag of the United States Air Force may have a bit of different designs that may not look like the one I recreated. One of them could have a golden eagle, and the flag could be a little lighter in color or even just have the flag with the logo of the USAF.
During the 1980s television, when the channel leaves the air, the National Anthem or the Air Force Hymn is played for the closing broadcast, and the last words displayed are "AIM HIGH, AMERICA" or just "AIM HIGH."
