It could be she's doing this deliberately to show them the threat of a certain dragoness. And possibly to wake them up to their real purpose again. It'd be interesting if the order in this time could be redeemed. Though I doubt it will be. probably just part of the deal that was made, and she's leading them to the portal to have them killed. I look forward to seeing what happens, regardless.
