In this lil' dnd'esque headcannon, spider-folk aren't "allowed", and are hunted on sight, so they hide among the common folk in big cloaks - stealing food and supplies. The image of lil' hobbling people with four glowing eyes under their hoods is the main iconography I've got for the spider folk!
Aevs is one such spider-folk, who, in the context of this little headcannon, would be met several times over the course of the story, helping the protagonist in lil' ways here and there.
I'm really glad people seem to be liking Cloaked Aevs, ahh ;;u;;

Ooh man, this all already sounds like a super fun idea. I can already imagine my moth boi soaring the night skies, unintentionally spooking people and accidentally becoming a legend similar to the Moth Man, except he is an actual moth man that just wants peace. Makes me wanna try DnD myself.
I would also see the spider-insect relations as friendly due to humans hating both of them. Though I can only hope. All the hope!
