Scene: Two Weeks After This Kiss.

Tituba: Alex, Kami. Thanks for joining me here so we can have a conversation about this.

Kamboja: I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous about this.

Alexander: Honestly, I'm not.

Tituba & Kamboja: ...What?

Alexander: Forgive me for going behind you back about this, Tabitha. But our daughter and I have been talking about this off and on for the past two weeks. You two have know each other for half a decade at this point, and have been basically flirting for the last two.

Kamboja: Two and a half, but who's counting?

Tituba: And you didn't have a problem with this?

Alexander: Would have asked a long time ago for it to stop if I honestly did. Wouldn't be the first time someone has been flirty with my wife since we moved to that community.

Kamboja: OK, you two. Let's stay focused on this, please. And just cut to the bone of the situation. Despite my age, I'm still very much a woman with a lot of love to give.


Tituba: Physically or emotionally?

Alexander: Yes, especially physically.

Kamboja: Husband! Settle down... I also know from our long chats that you very much want an emotional bond with someone before things could even possibly get to the physical. So...

Tituba: You're asking me if you've reached that point yet?

Kamboja: That's the short of it, Tabbi.

Tituba: And you're OK with the idea of me dating your wife?

Alexander: Like I mentioned, she has a lot of love to give. It wouldn't be the first time she embraced polyamory. We engaged in it for a few years before Ivana was born. And I'm not as much of a force in the bedroom as I used to be, and would love to let Kami have an outlet that we both can trust and have known for years.

Tituba: And you wouldn't be...

Alexander: Kamboja and I have discussed this already. This relationship, at least in that sense, would be exclusively between you and Kami. Anything that would happen between you and I would be completely to your discretion, with the threat of being disciplined by my morning paper if I tried to make unwarranted moves.

Kamboja: Specifically the Sunday paper.

Tituba: That... actually covers several of the bases. How long do you two have today?

Kamboja: Well, we're both retired. So, however long you need, Kucing.
