The Apple sisters had fun dancing at the fall formal and were now walking home together. Suddenly the two sisters had cloths forced over their mouths. They were taken by surprise and the cloths were tied over their mouths, effectively gagging them. The kidnappers then grabbed their wrists and forced their hands behind their backs and began tying their wrists with rope. The Apple sisters tried to look at their captors. They were two men dressed in black and they were wearing ski masks to hide their identities. Once the men had finished binding Applejack and Applebloom's wrists, they force the two sisters into bags and carried them away over their shoulders. Hours Later the bags were opened. Applejack came out and tried to yell at the kidnappers, but the gag muffled her words. Applebloom tried to plead with them but her gag kept her quiet. The two men looked at the bound and gagged Apple sisters and said "Don't worry, we're sure your family will pay the ransom for your safe return" The two men left the room and shut the door. Applejack and Applebloom looked around, they were being held in a basement. They hoped their captors would let them go once the ransom was paid or that their friends or anybody would find and rescue them. All they could do now was struggle and make muffled cries for help.
