In the past story, The Sleepover, Cappy and Fritter had recently met and were beginning to build the bonds of what would become an inseperable friendship. Since then, many other good times, adventures, and new friends have been made to get us to the point in the Welcome to Saurral Manor storyline where Nishi and my upcoming children's book, Captain Scuttles takes place.
To better help explain the bonds of friendship and character development that has happened between Stream Stress and Captain Scuttles, I happily present this second revamped story that has a heavy focus on lead CS characters, Cappy and Fritter. An encounter with Scuttle himself should also, in addition to what has already been noted, explain the fun dynamics that are to take place in Nishi and my second foray into colorful, self-published work.
Some of you may now be asking, "Why such a gap in storyline between Stream Stress and Captain Scuttles? Well, first off, Stream Stress was a part of my second mainstream publication attempt for the haposaurs. However, it didn't take and, so, Nishi was kind enough to partner up with me to bring the story to life so that at least my son could see his father's story come to life. However, our efforts turned out to be a blessing in disguise as our collaborative experience helped me earn the job I know hold as a Bussiness Analyst. Furthermore, we have gotten some great opinions from kid's and teachers about Stream Stress that made giving making another story a try too fun to pass up.
This brings us to why Captain Scuttles was selected. First, my son asked if I could make him a "Superhero book." Second, while making Stream Stress, Nishi recalled reading the original Captain Scuttles I wrote and posted here to FA and saying he thought it was a good story. These two points, plus a number of smaller ones, made Captain Scuttles the obvious choice for us to follow-up our first fun adventure.
We hope you enjoy Fritter's Find. I couldn't have improved it from its original 2003 / 2004 edition without my wife, son, and the wonderful input of Nishi.
