"You never have to change anything you got up in the middle of the night to write." - Saul Bellow

*laughs* There was an episode of The Greatest American Hero where the FBI agent Bill, after having bragged that he couldn't be hypnotized and that it was all bunk, let himself drift off during a hypnotist act and had a suggestion planted that he would fall into a trance again on hearing the word 'scenario'... a word that, as an FBI agent, was one of his absolute favorite words.
It's always fascinating what connections stick around in everybody's mental map. It says something that this was the first thing I thought of when I saw the word. (Of course, I was also both writing a superhero story for the last prompt, and wiki-walking through TvTropes for Steven J. Cannell productions earlier this week, so I may have been primed to bring up that connection...)
The Greatest American Hero was always at least as much comedy as drama. The main character was an idealistic high school teacher dealing with most of the problem students, who got given a super-powered uniform by aliens... and who then promptly lost the instruction booklet so he had no idea how to use it properly. A very common scene in the earlier show involved him crash-landing because his control of his flight wasn't good, and then him attempting to convince people that this was all part of some movie promotion, please ignore the man in the tacky-looking costume.
Robert Culp as an FBI agent desperately trying to keep things practical and serious while also having to hide all this from his bosses was just another part of the humor.

Really unhappy with this one. All talk, no action. My brain cannot produce anything but "blah blah blah" today.

Welcome to the Prompt, and you aren't late at all, each weeks prompt remains open for entries until the next one is commenced by Vixyy, which usually happens each Thursday. It's no issue submitting entries for previous prompts on the latest one either, just make a note when you do so that it's a late entry and which prompt its for.
Latecomer, for 9-7-2023's Thursday Prompt. I needed the Lioness of War to give me a talking-to about forty years from now, and it worked out well enough in the end.
Stay hungry, good siblings.
