Jake sees the blue-grey goo and he's confused about what it's doing. He realizes it is trying to take over his body as he struggles, but it is too late because he is now nullified. And computer program picks a new identity for a null as Max Parker. And now Jake is the new Max, and he will choose his skinsuit to wear.
