Buck Brothers: American Flag Flies for First Time (9/3/23)
On this day in 1777, the American Flag Flies for the first time! during the Revolutionary War at Cooch's Bridge, Delaware.
When I was drawing the flags for the day, I had to choose either the Betsy Ross Pattern or the Francis Hopkinson Pattern. Since I was doing Betsy Ross Flag drawings lately, I decided to do Hopkinson's iteration. I could've done all three flags because of historical purposes, but I was shorthanded. The best use was the tissue flags, and they worked well.
I did do some photos and videos of the flag on the flagpole for the event. These photos were captured on September 1st before the post was made. Hopefully l, I can get an outdoor Betsy Ross Flag and Francis Hopkinson Flag so I can fly it in the future.
