For me it was love at first sight lol
my friend was exploring the area where wild Manectric can appear
and I watched
when the very first Manectric we ever saw popped up
and I practically yelled for him to catch and keep it cause it's going on the team lol
he kept switching out who he wanted to be on the team, but I never let him cycle out our Manectric lol

For me I think I used to like Eletrike more and mightyena line overall for more hoenn doggos but ive grown to like Manectric more honestly i think because of the 3D model era since i started liking it when it got a mega but like in general 3 dimensions i think changed my opinion on it
