The mighty are gathered against us, give me the strength to run my rounds and the stamina to complete this fire mission. Let me and my section complete the most holy of missions in the name of the God of War, that has selected us from his many soldiers to be his Redlegs. We are the shovel for when others are in the shit and we shall deliver upon thy enemy fire and flame unending in either direction. Lets us dine tonight on the gunline with cold chow but warm hearts kindled by the comradery of each other. We stand ready to be awoke in slumber so that those that serve with us may live. We shall endure rain, sleet, hail, and snow and keep our emplacements fast and precise, with our guns always laid and our powder dry. When the lightning strikes and the thunder booms, let it be in cadence with the flash of our muzzles and roar of our guns. Let the enemy know that our rounds will always be precise and accurate as we rain fire and fury from the heavens upon them.
