This band of characters are a specialised police unit known as the S.T.R.I.P.E.S. A mammal team both young and old, with enhanced powers to aid in their quest to keep the peace in the town of Ashdale.
Their leader is the somewhat cynical and grumpy but equally organised but often brash Captain Ray Wakefield. His second-banana, is the Scottish-born, quick-witted but not to be messed about with Sandy MacHopper, who provides the motherly love to her younger subordinate. Then there is her meek yet powerful husband Vladislav Vulpula, a now-defunct vampire known as a vulpire. And last but not least there is the tiny cadet-in-training, the adorably cute, naive, sweet but superhero from another world Amanda Kane, the commanders adopted-daughter.
Together, they are the S.T.R.I.P.E.S, a squad dedicated to protecting the city from the evil Metalago, a bad bunny hell-bent on conquest and fortune and will stop at nothing to destroy the S.T.R.I.P.E.S and their interference in his plans.
