"Okay... Well, good luck with arrows I guess."
So remember when I said "never trust a thing I say" in the Bird Meet Bird description? Well here's a new piece barely a week after the last (serious) one. Hooray for inconsistency!
I did mean what I said about taking it slower but I'd already started this one before posting Bedroom Selfie and something about the buff half-naked cheetah was very motivational to get it finished. And I know, I'm about to gush again, but hey, I think it's earned. Damn does the big buff cheetah look good. I've started doing a thing with lighting where I use a large brush with 0% hardness and ~40% flow that leaves a really good falloff, and I've been trying to leave small remainders of shadow/light when I go over certain lines - and so far, it's really worked to make the lighting pop. So although it may be a week or a month, I'm excited to keep playing with it and making new stuff.
