A while ago I had a bit of a sketch fiasco, this was one of the sketches that came from such a fiasco. I decided recently to finish it. I've wanted to try my hand at painting without lines for a while, so I decided to go for it.
I still prefer working with lines.. but I may try again with something like this. I have mixed feelings about it right now.

I must say, I thin you SHOULD try making something like this again. It's very dramatic and Hellenistic looking. *3* You don't see much of that around here at all. Nope.
Keep it up! I'd quite enjoy to see much much more from you, lineless or not! You may not feel this way, but I for one thing this is a very successful piece.

Thank you! Haha, I've got quite a few pieces that are somewhat similar in theme/complexity to this one laying around in my sketch folder. :) I'm flattered you think it's hellenistic! I don't think I'm anywhere near up to par with art from that period, but I hope with practice I can get there sometime. xD
