Lockdown lifted and it was finally time to share Dennis with the world. Conventions and furmeets opened up again, and Dennis was eager to meet new people. His outfits changed as well, from the understated jackets and jeans to outfits that just felt more in tune with him. More brighter colours, more of his body exposed, just stuff that embodied his sense of self and comfort with his and my body. After trying out Dennis in more feminine outfits after watching some films about drag with friends, I found a hair style that quite suited him, and wanted to push a little more to him being androgynous, and added some more flairs to his style, such as the goggles, which later became a staple.

Career wise, I had become a full time electrician with my Dad, and was about to start college to earn the accreditation to learn the trade, and it was as if I was finally finding my footing.

And all the while, Dennis has been my anchor.
