Let's just say I am in the worst possible place. I was on probation at work after having a very serious meltdown that was a long time coming. The job, whilst fine, was presenting new challenges and it felt like every little thing was getting to me. Not to mention how I had been given a positive confirmation for autism a few months before. The "help" I was getting was lacklustre, as in very unhelpful, or the online meet ups were usually becoming venting sessions for other people not really looking for answers, just pity.

Before then, I was able to turn to my characters, but I felt I could no longer relate to either Giovanni or Gideon anymore. That's when I decided to come up with a new character, one who would better represent me as a person, where I could pour my traits that, until that point, had been sore points for me. I then chose a koala, because they felt like a species I liked, as they were portly, slept a lot, and were small, but also because I was mad crushing on Eugene from Animal Crossing.

I came up with a ref sheet, and the character was Dennis the Koala
