Thank you very much! I'm glad you like the character designs. As I said, they were heavily influenced by one of Osamu Tezuka's films.
Years ago, an artist friend told me that, "Every drawing you do should tell a story." Thus, I try to have a "story" in mind when creating a work like this one. So there is definitely a backstory to this drawing, but I prefer to leave it up to the viewer to fill in their own details.
