The story was Egyptian-themed, in which a spoiled princeling was cursed to be blind, and only "see" things as they truly were. The beautiful of skin could be wretched at heart. Tiny children could be gallant heroes at heart.
With this humbling blindness, he becomes a god-like judge and serves his people, instead of the other way around, with the ability to sense the truth, and see the evil in the hearts of others.
"Axiom" means "truth", so the title is "Truth Sight".
