It's a big no no. Cats didn't make good food, the bone/meat ratio is very bad, and same with the hairs: too much !
Even worse you may spend more energy to chase them than they'll feed you.
It work well only with some specimen (the well know Garfield type) as they are easy to chase and more caloric even if they mainly came from fat. So it can"t be a good choice for a well balanced diet.
Take a look at pony, especially the little one, they make great food and came in almost every flavour.
