This one is really special to me.

I don't have a big social circle. I don't hang out with friends or visit family more than a couple of times per year. There are admittedly not many things that keep me going (do not worry, this isn't a cry for help; I am quite fine, but I mean to say my world is very small).

At the end of March, I suffered several major losses back-to-back. My small world was reduced in size even more. Fortunately, I do handle loss pretty well...but She was there for me, able to see through the facade and soothe the hurting, even when I was so effectively pretending there wasn't any pain that I was even fooling myself.

I did not dwell on what I had lost. Instead, I was able to focus on what I still had.

I still have her.
