I bet Macros in general spend a lot of their day sleeping - you got to give it to em’ there’s just not a whole lot to do besides the necessities such as eating, sleeping, and the “end-result” of eating ha-ha. Dudley here is an exception having a friend to converse and have fun with, but besides the former and pondering life’s nuances - Dudley like any other bored person would always be napping to pass the day. I reckon it’s also a reason why he’s so chubby. Generally among Dudley’s favorite things are eating and relaxing, so if all he does his stuff himself and sit down all day because he has no real reason to move then his ample frame is a given result. Any macro who does this I feel will end up the same way. But that just means there’s more of Dudley to love :D

I think it’s a really cute/adorable idea, such a large and imposing creature succumbing to the pleasures of sleep. Dudley In all his glory looks so vulnerable, you can easily go up to him unnoticed and pet him (he’ll rumble growls of happiness if you do), his presence a warm and inviting stronghold. Beardsley often finds himself sleeping or napping with Dudley. They do just about anything together, Beardsley sleeps with Dudley so as to keep him company and to not leave him all alone at night. Being the giant canine he is, should Beardsley stay inside - he’ll be met with Dudley’s sad face peering into his window, and I’m certain he’ll whine like a regular dog instead of using his actual voice. Huskies and their voices ;)

Dudley even sleeps with his paw upright to catch Beardsley if he were to ever fall.

Though he shouldn’t feel too bad if his friend doesn’t snooze with him, Beardsley gave him a blanket that shows off their friendship. It’s a little too small but Dudley always uses it XD

As mentioned before, personally I would feel giddy/loved just being near a macro like Dudley, it’s like the underneath of a blanket of comfort and assurance that I’m protected and loved. Even more so if my closest view of him is his snoring wide-open muzzle with his snout scrunched up and his licker just hanging out. During a cold night his warm breath surely would keep you toasty with every breath/exhale he takes. And when you wake up, his eyes falling upon you with companionship and his words asking you about your day and stuff is great dream material. Oh what I would do to meet a macro canine :D

Onto a more lore related note, Beardsley actually lives alone in his house. He inherited the old school farm house from his parents along with dozens of acres of property. That’s how him and the Husky live together, they have a lot of ground to themselves. Beardsley is still super young, and that’s because his parents passed away at a too early age. I have my ideas as to what exactly happened, but regardless Beardsley even with being set for life with his inheritance has only been able to go through life’s troubles and his own personal ones because Dudley has been there for him ever since he can remember. They really are inseparable.
