"It is not uncommon practice for people to give their OCs a traumatic backstory. Herb is absolutely no exception, and she has a deep phobia of using bomb rocks. The reasoning for this is that during the events of Pikmin 1, she tossed the bomb rock at a honeywisp instead of the stone wall. This ended up catching 94 Pikmin in the blast. Since then, she decided to become a cook, not because of the explosion, just because she smelled what Louie was cooking in the events of Pikmin 2 and became his apprentice for a short time. This has absolutely nothing to do with the comic down below, I just thought that was interesting..."
