"Also known as "Jousters" thanks to their almost Knight-Like appearance! This specific Love-Bot is one of the first designed in the A.I war. Their purpose was to try and run-down enemies as fast as they can and enclose the distance in ground-skirmishes. They were also used to cause chaos within enemy spaceships as thanks to the claustrophobic spaces and ensuring that there weren't many places to run. Being able to deflect off most laser rounds, heavily armored, extremely sharp claws and mandibles, and even had a spit attack that could dissolve titanium. They were dangerously effective, came in groups of eight to twenty and most infantry fled in terror when forced to deal with them.
Their weakness however came to heavily armored tanks and over shield technology. Creating a Pseudo-Thorns effect just to deal with the incoming enemy threat. These creatures can still be seen today and are mostly used by the new Love-Bot faction within the Warrior of the Pillars. It is also to note that upon creation that they are almost 100% female. There are also variations that were created during the A.I war, such as a "breacher" variant that had a massive AT gun attached to it. That and even what was defined as a "stalker" variant that could turn completely invisible as their internal goo was a thick purple. A common belief among Angel-Tech is that they believed that they had the intelligence of a feral dog. However, this is completely untrue and the God A.I Agnar, out of spite, made sure they were one of the more intelligent sapient machines in his army.
It is still heavily debated on what they actually are based off of though outside of being just an entirely unique machine. Like most Love-Bots, they always seem to be a mix of various animals, insects or even creatures. What is certain is that there's a mix of ant, termite, raptor, and even a couple other bits and bobbles were found in their design. Regardless, I've tried bringing it up with AGNAR and achieved no real results on the matter, same goes with Scavvy or even Cyber. Although I like Thomza's answer of just claiming it's simply based off an "Insect Knight", and I suppose that will work for me! ~Aellea Materia
Hee-Ho, howdy everyone! Today I bring you more lore on Love-Bots, some small bits of the A.I war, and even to show off Love-Bots can be all sorts of weird and shaped designs! Although, I think Aellea explained everything the best soooooooo... That's it! Thanks for reading everyone! Have a wonderful day!
Disclaimer and Copyright: These characters involved, and the artwork belongs to me, TwistedHensley. The Skin to Scales universe also belongs to me there, TwistedHensley... You get the drill. I want to point out that this is an Epic Dark Fantasy setting with a lot of mythological and religious tones and that there is no real-life connection to any of these events, religions, characters and it is fully, grounded, in fantasy. There is no copyright infringement also intended to other forms of media as Skin to Scales is meant to be its own thing and something I've been working on for a very long time. This is the same setting where faith is a massive part of the magic system.
