little more oldmusic artwork for today's upload(s)! And more of me rambling about lore and story that no one really cares for, or about <3

this is another incredibly evocative, emotional, super-important-to-me piece. (for not only IRL emotions, but also deep story importance!)

In it, Oldmusic is defending her daughter, Ona. When Oldmusic was alive, Ona was young, and thus in need of her incredibly powerful mother to not only raise her, but keep her safe. Oldmusic is notorious for giving no f*cks about anything other than her god, Sylar (who leaves her late in the story, to be a god in the realm of the gods). And once Sylar is gone, Old resumes caring about nothing. She has no will to live, no drive, no cares, no worries, no definition of what makes us truly alive, really.

But Sylar visits her in a dream (as he is wont to do after ascending) and he impregnates her. After the birth of Ona, Old finally again has something to care about in life (after her original will to live was gone when Sylar left the mortal realm) Old spent her final 100 years in the mortal realm, raising, teaching, nurturing and truly loving her daughter. Now, Old has had hundreds of kids in her long long existence, (She existed in a time way before contraception, but way after being a total whore was a popular female trade) but Ona was fathered by the only thing Old cared about (Sylar) and thus, Ona was the only child she reared ("reared" means "to raise a child" You know, be a parent to.) and the only child she loved, and was present for.

Here, Old is seen in a rare moment of giving a F*ck as she defends Ona from some unseen threat.
...and as anyone who knows of Old, she is stupid strong... and can be disgustingly "overzealous" in combat, and Old is a major fan of torturing her opponents and going to great lengths to overkill those against her.

Ona is played, owned, designed and property of my best friend,  Cal-Chimera (Honestly, she's like my second sister. srsly)
Cal is the only friend I have that my husband respects enough to agree to allow a major prominent role in the story he and I have spent years lovingly crafting, writing, and developing together. And Cal truly deserves the honor and respect. She is amazing in every way. I could gush for many paragraphs, but I leave it at that. Cal = amazing.

I trusted only an incredibly gifted and talented artist to render this very important scene, and  SupeRrrAvi did a better job than even I could've imagined! I love this piece. I love it so much, and it is so rich in not only tons of story, but deep emotional feels for myself, and my character Oldmusic (and Old is really not supposed to have any "feels" about anything, so it makes them even stronger, for her and me).
