Cathlamet Wolf fleece hat
This hat has been over 2+ years in the making! I just finally got around to putting the ears on it last night!
Honestly I found the project half-made in one of my fabric drawers and got all excited about it again, so I finished it up! Since its all newly made, I thought it will be a good giftie to the person I am trading my Cathlamet costume to. :3
Its made out of anti-pill fleece with applique markings and cute wolfy ears. The back has a black chevron marking just like the back of the fursuit has.

Would you happen to have a pattern for a fleece hat like this? I like the way you did the ears as opposed to the ones that are just straight stitched into the seam, these are nice the way they bow :3 I was thinking of trying my hand at one for a surprise gift for a friend.
I don't remember which pattern I used for the hat itself. But I do remember omitting sewing my ears into the original seams in favor of the curved seam since I wanted that specific earset. I literally cut the curved shape with a razor blade and then carefully hand-stitched the ears in between the curved shape. If you do this, there isn't a seam allowance, so I first sewed the inside (white) and outside (black) ear to the hat (grey, then I sewed the inside and the outside together to close them up. (I wasn't able to use a sewing machine for this)
I hope this description helps! Let me know if you have any more questions!

Thank you so much! I'm a total n00b when it comes to sewing, all I've made was a kindle cover as my very first project (which IMO turned out pretty good for my first try!) so this is my next endeavor. I wondered if thats how it could be done but worried about the seam allowance. I will try this out and will be sure to ask questions if I get stuck, thank you so much!
