Long-time wiewers of mine may have caught references to "My cool landlord, Brett". Well, this is why he's cool: Today, (despite being my ex-landlord for a year or so) he took a chunk out of his weekend to drive over and use his mad electrician skillz (He installs electronics in aircraft for a living) to fix my scooter. He found the fuse that was the main trouble, replaced it, and even drove us over to AutoZone to get a new fuse holder, which he then soldered in place. YAAAYY! i have my motorized transportation back!
See, this is one reason why I reccomend developing basic social skills: Not only is fun more fun with friends, but having a circle of buddies gains you access to their different experience and skills. You become a more efficient human yourself, being part of such a team. 'Course, it means YOU gotta do THEM a favor every now and then, but I've never (openly) minded that.
