When drumming, his signature pieces are "Timeline" (a drum solo for three separate snare drums: one rope-tensioned, one modern marching snare drum [think college football], and one concert snare drum), any military march, the main theme from the "Star Wars" franchise, and the same franchise's "Imperial March." The hardest piece of his to play was Ravel's "Bolero," in which the snare drum repeats the same unchanging ostinato rhythm from start to finish. He is teaching himself certain music from the "Star Fox" and "Legend of Zelda" franchises.

It is also common to see Lonnie drumming alongside the king he served, King Lionel XVIII (Monarch Major), in the event the lions are playing fife and drum tunes. (A different Drumbum lion would play the fife.)
