Today in the Vexillological Corner...

Today, July 14, marks one year with my flagpole! This pole was a birthday present for my seventeenth birthday. Ever since, I have unboxed the pole and given it modifications. This pole was like a canvas for me to paint with colors (no pun intended).

In 2022, this flagpole was about to be an outdoor flagpole, but it was raining, and the grass had to be watered, and dad was thinking about installing it. Dad kept it in the living room to remind himself to set it up. When Thanksgiving came up, there were guests and dad told me to hide the pole somewhere, and I decided to take it to my bedroom/studio. I observed and examined the pole to see if it could be set up in a bedroom. The setup idea was inspired by the libertyflagsinc video about snap hooks. The flagpole was fully set up on January 13, 2023, and has been a great display. Since the flag was made in China, i used a 3x5 American flag with sewn stripes and embroidered stars being the equivalent to the indoor flags until the 2x3 came that February. So, hooray! One year with the flagpole! Let's see what other flags, poles, and parts I may find in the future.
