Buck Brothers: Bastille Day (7/14/23)
Today in the Vexillological Corner...
July 14th is Bastille Day for 🇫🇷 France, and I flew my paper flag of France and presented my stick flag.
A flag with a two to three ratio, the tricolor flag is one of the most simplest flags, and the flag was adopted on February 15, 1794, designed by Jacques-Louis David Lafayette, and adopted by the French National Convention. The Blue represents liberty, white is for equality, and red is for fraternity.
I like how simple the flag is, and I will be on the lookout for a 2×3 French flag to see how it goes on the pole.
