I too like the repeating pattern of the polkadots throughout this, it's a really lovely touch :3
The character looks so cute and carefree, as if posing for a quick picture snapped by a friend. Really nicely done! Maybe try layering in more colours/different hues into your colouring? A lighter purple or even a pink layered ontop of the purple might give a nice effect :3
