Green flattened out the cloth on the 12 pound picnic table he just pulled out of his back pocket with four matching chairs. Red watched him with brow raised as Green demonstrated his vast experience in making the best sandwiches- legendary ingredients he stole from wild pokemon instead of just harvesting and growing his own. He started by carefully grinding the legendary herbs into a dust that then made the bread look like it has mold on it, then shattered a jar of peanut butter, showering glass dust and peanut butter down over the bread. He then rest some Red Onions, Pickles, Red Onions, Cucumbers, and some Red Onions.
Red gagged. "Are you serious? No cheese, meat.... just, a mountain of red onions?" Green nodded. "You know why this will attract Ghost Types? Because you'll die if you actually eat that sandwich."
Green carefully placed the party sparkler in the middle while tossing the other half of the bread away, unused. "Perfetc!"
"...THAT DOESN'T EVEN QUALIFY AS A SANDWICH NOW! IT IS A FOOD BOAT!"
Green smiled and turned his head sideways making a chewing motion while he moved the 'sandwich' past his mouth on the other side of his head and just let it fall to the ground after pretending to eat it. "Okay, we ready."
He then grabbed up a pokemon egg he had and started rapidly running in circles with it.
Red's eyes progressively narrowed more. "You... know the sandwich buff doesn't even apply to eggs, right?"
The first egg started to crack open! Both trainers leaned in close to watch the magic happen. The once solid shell cracked easily from the inside out, a tiny bit of leftover albumen dripped from the sundered shell and a tiny baby Greivard popped its head out! Its fur was matted with moisture and mostly covered its beady eyes. Its tiny tail started to wag immediately and the candle on its head became lit for the first time. Both trainers gave an 'awww' in unison at the sight of the miracle of nature!
Green then licked his fingers and pinched out the candle. "Sorry little fella, but I am going to have to let you go- you were born with the wrong skin color." Green then tossed him into the air and a Corviknight swooped down and grabbed it up in its talons to eat before it even hit the ground.
Red just slowly shook his head. "What in the ever-loving fuck is wrong with you." Green started to run in circles with the next egg. "I told you the sandwich does nothing to eggs! The egg is already born, its shiny rate was decided as soon as the egg formed!"
The egg started to crack and let out a little bit of light! Green's smile broadened as a new Greivard popped its head out... this time, matted with golden fur. "Ha~"
"That was just a coincidence! It was already a shiny before you ate the sandwich!"
"Pff, you can tell it to my SHINY Greivard, hehehe. Smell you later!" Green flew off on his Scyther, which definitely isn't big enough nor strong enough to carry a person, but does so anyway.
"AAAAAGH IHATEYOUSOMUCH!"

Oh his shiny actually isn't that bad, because the blue is a pretty striking difference from the red&yellow it normally would be (I farmed two of them myself). There have been far worse shiny pokemon for a long time, like Stantler's shiny which is just turning its entire body a vomit green. Tauros whose shiny is just invert the colors of its mane and body which were already almost the exact same color anyway, or the most heinous of all- Gholdengo whose shiny is a different colored highlight area- of which is already such a tiny percentage of its body that you could look at a picture of them both side by side and still not see any difference at all.
I love all pokemon games, lol. Stuff like this is just some added comedy.

for scarlet and violet they spent 6 minutes stealing assets from shovelware games, arrange them into a map and called it a day.
locations are uninteresting at bests, graphics, lights and framerate just as terrible, more glitches than pokemon red/green and the only 3/4 memorable pokemons are furry bait.
the fact that they are still selling 2 completely identical games at the price of a triple A title each is robbery and it's not better the fact that buying them separatedly it's somehow cheaper than buying them both at the same time.
this kind of shit is unforgivable and the fact that this absolute trash is selling is the kind of shit that makes me wonder if humanity as a species isn't regressing to tupaias

Since it is turn based I never noticed a problem with frame rate because it never really affects anything ever, and 380 hours in I am yet to experience a single glitch. Just like Cyberpunk 2077. Played that on PS4 for 108 hours when it came out and encountered exactly 1 glitch, that I easily ignored. SV games look great to me, though I would still proffer they go back to color sprites like gen3. And there are terrible pokemon designs, but... most of them are fine, and there has always been terrible designed pokemon in ever generation. Diglet the living dildo, its evolution which is just the same thing copy and pasted a few times, Ditto is a wad of gum, Jinx is the design equivalent of 'lets see how racist we can be before someone tells us to stop'.
I had plenty of fun with gen9- more than gen8,3, and 4. In contrast you have things like Sony charging a disgusting amount of money for their current gen console which I have had since 4 months after it initially came out and am yet to see it do a single thing my PS4 couldn't already do, if not better than the PS5 does. And its controller is an uncomfortable mess.

Thanks, pokemon saved my life back in the day, so I tend to use it as my comfort game. Plus shiny hunting is mindless and can be done even if you're half asleep, lol.
The sandwich recipe in the description story is mostly accurate too, lol. Just swap peanut butter for another herba; two (different) herba mystica, then red onion x3 and cucumbers and pickles- that is the optimal Ghost shiny hunting sandwhich!

During the game, neither did I. There really isn't much point unless you are shiny hunting, so I never made sandwiches till I filled out the 'dex first so I had the shiny charm. I now have over 100 unique shiny pokemon, haha. I have a shiny Ceruledge and Armarouge- nicknamed Glorialis and Valorean. My HOME dex still isn't complete though, still missing a few mythics... like those damn mythicals that are exclusive to pokemon GO, which I cannot play because I don't own a phone, sigh.
